The event is dedicated to the great Trentino sculptor and poet Cirillo Grott (1937 -1990). Paolo Vivian was invited with eight other prominent artists from Italy who will realize its sculptures for a week with a program full of meetings between sculpture and music. download the invitation >> pdf 4 - 12 september 2015, Italy, Villa Agnedo (Trento), "Pietre D’Acqua", II International sculpture symposium in granite From 4 to 12 September Paolo Vivian is invited with eight other Italian sculptors to participate in the second edition of the "Pietre D’Acqua" (Stones On Water), the sculpture symposium in granite, which will be held in the park along the river Chieppena in Villa Agnedo, Trentino. The symposium is under artistic direction of Paolo Dolzan, organized by Ecomuseum Valsugana. The goal is to create an open -air museum, along with the memory of those who knew how to live the territory obtaining the necessary support with ability and commitment to represent such a small excellence of Trentino. Paolo Vivian will create a sculpture entitled "Traces and presences.". 2 - 6 September 2015, Italy, Varese, Arcumeggia di Casalzuigno, Wood Gallery, 1st Symposium for sculpture in wood From 2 to 6 September, a group of six prominent sculptors will be engaged in the Wood Gallery for Sculpture Symposium in wood, a competition / exhibition organized by the Pro Loco of Arcumrggia (Varese), under the artistic direction of Luca Rendina. The invited artists are moldovian Victor Pelin and Italians Martalar, Emilio Parinetti, Fulvio Borgogno, Jessica Ielpo and Paolo Vivian. Vivian will participate with a project in the form of totems, entitled "Memories of one kiss", which will be created by a larch trunk about 2 x 0.50 m. The award ceremony will be held on Sunday, 6th September at 12:00 pm where they will be awarded by Prize of the critics and the Prize of the audience. download the poster pdf 1 August – 6 September 2015, Italy, Vermiglio (Trento), “Vermiglio 1915 - 2015: L'Esodo”, collective exhibition On Saturday, August 1 in the halls of the Cultural Centre of Vermiglio will be presented VERMIGLIO 1915 - 2015: THE EXODUS – the collective exhibition of "La Cerchia" - the artist`s association from Trentino. The story from which the exhibition is inspired, takes place from 1915 to 1917, when the population of Vermiglio was forcibly evacuated, for military and strategic reasons to the field of Mitterndorf, near Vienna, with other refugees from different backgrounds, torn too 'them to their land. The exhibition, supported by the City of Vermilion and the Autonomous Region Trentino -AltoAdige, will be completed by the catalog with critical note by prof. Mario Cossali. The goal of the event is an artistic research about moral and civil commitment aware of its history. The exhibition is organized by ANPI - Trentino and it is a part of the initiatives for the 70th anniversary of the Resistance.
